Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Dylan was a scary zombie convict (no pictures with his mask on though - I forgot) and Lillian was a baby chick, although she looked a little more like big bird than a chick. They both got way more candy than they needed and we all have been working on eating it. Lily really understood this year and had a great time. She still tries to knock on doors and say trick-or-treat! It's pretty funny.

The Moon

Lillian is pretty enamored with the moon lately and will point it out wherever she is and whenever she sees it. It can still be light out but the moon is visible and she will point and say "Look Mom, the Moon!"

Dylan is 9 Years Old!

Can you believe it? He had a party with some of the neighborhood boys. They rode bikes, had pizza and watched a movie on the big screen. A sign of kids growing up... no more toys - just cash! Happy Birthday Dylan!

p.s. He woke up the next day and said that he was sad. I asked him why and he said it was because his birthday was over and now he would have to wait a whole year for it to come again.

What You Want?

So Lillian likes to pretend that she makes you food in her little house. She will stick her head out of the window and ask "what you want?" Jake and I have made a little game out of asking her to make us the hardest things to say like: spaghetti, watermelon, hamburger, etc. It is pretty funny to hear her try to say the bigs words, but she tries!

This is Dylan's first year of football and he loves it. He has some neighbor buddies on his team so it makes it nice for us to go to games a practices. For 3 weeks they had practice every night! He plays corner back and he is really tough!
