The Day that Lillian Found the Scissors

So, this is my sweet little Lillian last week when she got her haircut with Jaclyn. She was sooooo excited to be sitting in the big girl chair and getting her hair done like mom. Look at her beautiful hair...
Then came these... look harmless enough, right?!



Nope, not harmless - they did this!!!! While mom freaked out dad stayed calm and took her to get a haircut at the mall (thanks dad).

This is what they could do with it. It is really short but pretty cute... except for the really short part in the front that could use some work.

She was actually prety excited about it as you can tell. She said "but mom, this is how I wanted it."

Hence, lots of new hats and headbands.

Christmas Tree 2011

We found it! The perfect tree!

And there it is all decorated! Nice, right?! It is much better than the tree we had last year which was way too skinny (go here to see it). No presents under the tree when I took this picture but no worries, there are some under there now!

Lillian's First Dance Recital

There she is! The star performer :) Her first time wearing make-up and getting her hair curled. It was a big day!

I was a little worried that she would get shy and not perform but she did great! It was really cute and her class did their dance to "Sleigh Ride". She also came out for the finale and waved and bowed to everyone. I am sure there will be dance recitals for years to come :)

The kids got so much candy! I don't think that Dylan would have ever quit if I hadn't made him stop (at 8:30 by the way). Lily had so much fun - she would run up to the houses and knock on the door. That was quite a change from last year when we had to carry her most of the time :)

Sunday Funday

I looooove Sundays. Mainly because I don't HAVE to do anything. Today we made Kool Aid playdough from a recipe that I found from this cute blog. Super fun, super easy.
