We had fun watching the Apple Blossom Youth Parade. If you are not familiar with Apple Blossom just let me tell you... it is a big deal in Wenatchee. There are two parades, two consecutive weekends. A youth parade and a grand parade. People start setting out their chairs and reserving their spots along the parade route more than a month in advance. I've never really seen anything like it and I am not really in favor of it but hey, what can you do? The grand parade has to be the biggest parade that I have ever been to and it is great! The youth parade is also a lot of fun. Lily especially like the mascots - it was pretty funny to see how excited she got to see some of them and the princesses too! Apple Blossom is a great time and brings a ton of people to Wenatchee!

Easter 2011

Pretty sure that I have the cutest kids ever! We all had a great Easter. The kids hunted for eggs and found their baskets which contained a new bike helmet for Dylan (I know, boring right?! Come on Easter Bunny can't you do better than that?) and a Ballet Dora for Lillian. I don't know how many weeks I heard about Ballet Dora before Easter came but I know that it was a while. And how many times has she played with it you ask???? About 2. That's a two-year=old for ya I guess. :)

Baseball 2011

Dylan is in the midst of baseball season which makes our nights pretty busy! He is doing great and has a great team too. This is his first year of actual pitching so it has been a change for him but he is doing really well. I just wish that it would get a little warmer for his games! Television

Lillian came upstairs this morning after eating her breakfast while watching her "shows". She is super excited and says "Mom, I want a cell phone and shoes, and a kitty and a dog! Well, I already have a dog, his name is Mack. I guess I just want a pink cell phone." Then walks away. Hmm... doubt that my 2-year-old will be getting a cell phone anytime soon!

It has been a great wrestling year so far! We have had 5 tournaments and Dylan has medaled at 3 of them - pretty darn good! Jake is president of the club this year so he has been really busy/involved with that this season. It definitely keeps us busy on Saturdays, can't say it will be all bad when its over next weekend. The last two tournaments he has wrestled a kid from Moses Lake named Riley, pretty funny - we joke with his parents that we will probably be seeing each other at tournaments for the next 9 years :) Good luck at the state tournament Dylan!
